Why I'm there

My name is Falk Steidel. I have been chairman of the SBV Forum Platte Heide since 2014.

I am often asked why I take on this difficult task. Well, there are two answers to this in particular. For one thing, I'm not alone. I have a committed and competent board of directors behind me. The work is therefore spread across many shoulders. On the other hand, I take care about our district. We as residents have to help shape things ourselves if the quality of living is to be maintained. That's why I'm here.

I would also like to convince you, dear reader, to join our ranks. I now know that many people are very interested in this. However, the fear of burdening themselves with too much work prevents most people from getting involved with us.

The time commitment is actually clear. We have divided our work into thematic forums. So you have the choice and decide in which forum you would like to participate. You are free to decide how much attention you want to give to your topic.

You will quickly notice how much fun it is to create our environment together.
