That's what drives us
Our district of Platte Heide is also affected by demographic and social change. Like many cities and communities in rural areas, this presents us with major challenges. Strategies are required here and coordinated action by all people involved in the municipal development process is essential. So we are in demand and want to be part of the community of responsibility.
An overall municipal strategy has now also been created for Menden as an integrated municipal development concept (IKEK). This created the basis for participating in the development of our district.
Our collaboration aims to make statements about how local supplies and infrastructure can be secured and developed. We want to ensure that all population groups feel comfortable in our Platte Heide district.
How do we work on this?
In our association's IKEK forum, we find out about the development status of the concepts and formulate our ideas for urban development in the district.
